This is a fundamental part of your course and you will not get the best out of lessons without consistent study. You will also be set one piece of written work per semester. This work must be brought along to your oral exam.
WRITTEN AND ORAL TESTS
The course will cover upper-intermediate grammar as well as linguistic analysis. The written test has two components: the comparative analysis of Italian and English grammar with translation from Italian to English as the means of assessment and the linguistic analysis of an advertisement. The oral exam will be based on a contrastive analysis of newspapers.
