An Opportuinty to Practice your English

Message from Prof. Lynch :

Professor Jesse Covington of Westmont College  in Santa Barbara, California has asked me to organize a screening of an Italian film with English subtitles for his class of thirty students together with a group of La Sapienza  students. The viewing of the film  will be  followed by a discussion of the film in English. This could be a good opportunity for his students to learn from English-speaking Italian students and a good opportunity for you  to gain cultural insight and language practice from discussion with his students. (Professor Covington and his class are in Rome for only 3 weeks and they do not speak Italian.)

 We have decided to show  Il Caimano by Nanni Moretti on Monday Sept, 30th at 3.30 in room 6 at Villa Mirafiori. Ideally we want more or less thirty  students to attend and discuss the film afterwards.
