LCLT - Material and Lesson Preparation

 1) Those of you who  were absent at  the first lesson  have to  complete the worksheet below.
      Once you have written your summary , bring it to  my office hours for correction.
   
      I.                    What is a Summary?

A summary has several important features:

1)      it’s short

2)      It talks about the main idea

3)      It provides important information (e.g. examples) that make the main idea easy to understand

4)      It excludes unnecessary information

5)      It uses your own words, though some key words from the original story are acceptable

6)      A summary should start by referring to  the original  source and giving the main idea and focus.

II.                   Watch  the video and write one sentence stating the main idea

III.                Now watch  the video  again and complete the table in note form.
