MAGISTRALE 1 SEPTEMBER EXAM LETTORATO UPDATED
Magistrale 1 September Exam for academic years 2019-2020 or earlier.
The exam for non-attending students will be held online on September 25th from 14.00

THE EXAM WILL TAKE THE FORMAT OF AN ORAL EXAM AS PER JUNE. STUDENTS WILL DO THE ORAL IN PAIRS AND RECEIVE AN ARTICLE TO READ APPROXIMATELY 10-12 MINUTES BEFORE THEIR ORAL BEGINS.
The exam will begin with a short summary of part of the article followed by comprehension and lexical/grammatical exercises.
The stated level of the first year Magistrale 1 exam is C1. As such those taking part need to display a range of accuracy and complexity in their speaking, not merely communication skills. Phonological and lexical ability will be tested in addition to comprehension.
Please note the following:
(1) You must have a computer, tablet, or smart phone with a reliable internet connection and a functioning camera + microphone. The audio on your device must also work properly, so you can hear the examining lecturer and the other student.
(2) The oral exam will be conducted on Webex/Google meet. Make sure you download the app.
(3) Have your personal identification with your NAME AND PHOTO and proof of enrollment in the Magistrale programme ready to show at the start of your exam on Webex. The exam can not begin until this has been done.
(4) The code for the video meeting will be provided on lecturers' blogs on the morning of the exam.
(5) Please use your institutional email for all stages of the process.
