Magistrale 1 JUNE Exam for academic years 2019-2020 or earlier.
The exam for non-attending students will be held online beginning on June 12th from 14.00-18.00 . Further dates will be added as necessary.
Booking will open May 25th and close on June 2nd at midday.
The exam will take the form of an oral exam in which a pair of students will be asked to quickly read and discuss an article which will be sent to you at the start of the exam. The duration of the exam for each pair of students will be 30 minutes.The stated level of the first year Magistrale 1 exam is C1. As such those taking part need to display a range of accuracy and complexity in their speaking, not merely communication skills. Phonological and lexical ability will be tested in addition to comprehension.
Please note the following:
(1) Have a computer, tablet, or smart phone with a reliable internet connection and a functioning camera + microphone. The audio on your device must also work properly, so you can hear me and the other student.
(2) The oral exam will be conducted on Webex. Make sure you download the app.
(3) Have your personal identification with your NAME AND PHOTO and proof of enrollment in the Magistrale programme ready to show at the start of your exam on Webex. The exam can not begin until this has been done.
(4) The code for the Webex meeting will be sent out some minutes before and will remain the same for the whole day of the exam. If we do run into problems with Webex, we will then set up a Meet session and send you the link. For this reason, you should make sure that you also have access to your uniroma email for the duration of the exam session.
